Cute Kids Rick-Rack Apron

One of Cam’s little girlfriends turns 3 today! I decided to jazz up this cute Hobby Lobby apron that I found, since I know she and her mom spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

I decided on rick-rack early on, but while perusing the trim section at Joann’s, I saw a fun idea on their idea board. I loved the cute rick rack flower (baby rick rack is so tiny and adorable) but I also wanted to use jumbo rick rack, so I did both! I picked up a fat quarter for the applique inside the flowers, then simply stitched the rick rack down using a narrow, long zigzag.
